Discover the Ease

In this 10-day Project we will explore 10 principles that are foundational to achieving Healthy with Ease.  When these principles are present, showing up daily for yourself happens with ease - no resistance. When absent, efforts to be healthy are perceived as hard or like “there is something wrong with me if I cannot prioritize my health"!

Of course there is nothing wrong with you - you are human, and health is only one of the many priorities you have on your plate!  Wouldn't it be nice if you could prioritize your health with ease, consistency and joy ? That's where the 10 Principles of Lifelong Vitality come in. 

How does the Vitality Project work?

Each day you will receive an email with one principle, and a small Mission Possible to embed the principle into your day, not as “one more thing to do” but as practice that symbolizes the intention of the principle.

Deliberately practicing a Mission Possible, prompted by the daily emails, will train you to remember the principle, in a moment that matters, when you are about to make a choice later that impacts your health.

It is like you are creating a friendly voice in your head to catch yourself before you do something that is not helpful, or before you miss an opportunity to do something that would be helpful for your health.

 How am I supposed to remember the principles?

By accepting the Mission Possible offered to you each day, you invite the principle into your brain, and you won't need to remember them– they will occur to you as beliefs , in the background.  They will simply show up, after the project is over,  when you have a choice to make.  With the principles as the context, it becomes easier to make choices aligned with your long-term goals instead of choosing what is more convenient or you feel like doing at the moment.

This is not because the principles are revolutionary.  On the contrary, the principles will seem so obvious that they will speak to you from inside, from an inner knowing that will shine a light on the healthy path you really want.  They are aligned with the version of healthy that you want most, not what you want now.

You don’t have to remember the principles.  You just have to remember that you want to be Healthy with Ease! 

What happens after the project is over?

By the end of the 10-days you will have had many opportunities to experience how these principles can help you be Healthy with Ease.  At that point you choose to continue living the principles - or not. 

If you choose to keep the principles and practices, you will find yourself mastering Healthy with Ease, adding and pruning practices as your circumstances change, but always being playful about being healthy. You can download a small card with the 10 principles to be used as a bookmark, or on your vision board, or anywhere else where you use external cues to remind you of what is important to you.  

If you choose to stop the practices, you might still remember the principles that resonated most with you, and they may still show up from time to time.

Will it work? Will it sustain?

Only time will tell, but for sure, it will not work if you do not try. 😊

I have embraced these principles for a few years, and each Mission Possible from this challenge is one of 25 habits I follow daily.  Do I complete all the 25 habits every day?  Heck no… but I complete them frequently enough that they are part of who I am now. These Lifelong Vitality principles are built-in and the default of how I make choices about my day, my priorities.

I am 59 years old, have the health and vitality of my 30-year old self, and feel that with intention and clarity, anything is possible!  That’s what I wish for you as well!
